COVID – 19 (Coronavirus) – Update

The world is opening again and holidays are now a possibility for many of us.

For UK guests we now have a list of countries we can visit without the need to quarantine on return. Please do always refer to the foreign office’s website for the official list of these countries, which you can see HERE.

However there may be quarantine restrictions on arrival in certain countries and particular health requirements may be necessary. In addition to the FCO website the Re-open Europe website is useful for the latest safety measure being imposed by each country.

In this ever-changing Covid-19 world, holidays are adapting and additional hygiene measures are being implemented across all forms of travel.

With so many new protocols and standards now in place, we wanted to keep you updated on what several of our preferred partners are doing to ensure safety on their trips and give you peace of mind whilst travelling. COVID 19 (Coronavirus) – Update

On March 11, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) to be a global pandemic, presenting us all with a difficult set of challenges.

For a company that lives and breathes travel, and exists to inspire and enable our guests to see the world, it’s hard to watch that world gradually – although, important to remember, only temporarily – closing their borders.

You will all be very aware that the situation is continuing to develop, with daily updates and changes in government policies, from all over the world. We want to ensure you that York Road Travel is monitoring the situation very closely and following the advice of the Foreign Office.

As a travel agent we do work with a number of travel operators, suppliers, airlines and companies across the industry. York Road Travel has never imposed any additional cancellation or amendments fees as an agency, but always abide by the terms and conditions of the suppliers we use. This is an unprecedented event for the travel industry, but we are pleased to see companies adapting to the situation, with many updating their standard terms and conditions.

We understand that guests will be worried about their future trips and have many questions, but please know we will do everything we can to help with any changes that are out of your control.
